Download WordPress on MAMP

WordPress is a popular content management system (CMS) that allows users to create and manage their own blogs or websites. MAMP, on the other hand, is a local server environment for macOS and Windows. In this article, we will guide you on how to download WordPress on MAMP.

Step 1: Download MAMP

The first thing you need to do is to download MAMP onto your computer. Visit the official MAMP website and download the version that corresponds to your operating system.

Step 6: Install WordPress

To install WordPress, you need to open a web browser and type localhost into the address bar. This will take you to the MAMP homepage.

Click on the WordPress folder you copied earlier and follow the installation instructions. Make sure you fill in all the required fields, including the database credentials you created earlier.
